Male complete infertility workup
A semen analysis test, which examines the sperm for quality, motility, and structural issues that may be causing infertility, may be requested of the male partners.
During tests performed at various dates, sperm counts may vary. To make sure the counts are accurate, the person could be requested to undergo testing several times during a certain period of time.

TESA, or testicular sperm aspiration, is an IVF procedure in which a needle is put in the testes and the fluid and tissue are extracted under negative pressure. The aspirated tissue is then sent to the IVF laboratory to be processed and have the sperm cells retrieved for use in the ICSI procedure later.

The process of keeping biological cells at below-freezing temperatures for future use is known as cryopreservation. The procedure of cryopreservation allows for the long-term preservation of semen. It is a technique for keeping the cell alive for a long time.
